Abstract

(anglicky) This bachelor thesis deals with the work of Colombian writer Gabriel Garcia Márquez. The work focuses on eight short stories of the work Los funerales de la Mamá Grande, and specifically focuses on the social status of the main characters in the town of Macondo. Above all I will focus on their power and social position in political, social and economic environment. I will focus on the analysis of short stories and their characters.

(česky) Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá dílem kolumbijského spisovatele Gabriela Garcíi Márqueze. Práce se soustředí na osm povídek díla Los funerales de la Mamá Grande, a konkrétně se zaměřuje na společenské postavení hlavních hrdinů v městečku Macondo. Především se budu věnovat jejich moci a společenskému postavení v kontextu politickém, sociálním a ekonomickém. Zaměřím se na analýzu povídek a postav.
