Motiv smrti v mateřské škole zprostředkovaný skrze dětskou literaturu

Abstract

This bachelor thesis will convey a research theme of death and its presence as a theme in the kindergarten and amongst its pedagogues and their explanations of it. The goal of this thesis is to map the death-related themes present in kindergarten and the way their presence manifests there. We also strive to create a list of appropriate and qualified literature for children to go along with it and which can be used to work with the idea of death in kindergarten. Using this we are going to create, realise and reflect three lessons containing death-related themes where we would use "work with a book" method in selected kindergarten. Theoretical part of this thesis will concentrate on the death-theme and ways in which children approach said theme - this will be done through characteristics of pre-school child and through their cognitive evolution towards the death-theme. Further on in the practical part of the thesis we will explain the term "reader's pre-literacy" through the work with a book method and read strategies used in kindergarten. Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje zprostředkováním tématu smrti v mateřské škole metodou práce s knihou. Cílem této práce bylo zmapovat, zda s tématem smrti v mateřské škole pracují a případně, jakým způsobem; vytvořit seznam vhodné a osvědčené literatury pro děti k práci s tématem smrti v mateřské škole; navrhnout, realizovat a reflektovat tři lekce k tématu smrti pomocí metody práce s knihou ve vybrané mateřské škole. Teoretická část se zabývá vhledy do tématu smrti, jakým způsobem děti k smrti přistupují, charakteristikou předškolního dítěte, kognitivnímu vývoji zaměřenému k tématu smrti. Dále v teoretické části vysvětluji pojem čtenářská negramotnost, zabývám metodou práce s knihou a čtenářskými strategiemi v mateřské škole, které následně využívám v praktické části. Praktická část obsahuje výsledky dotazníkového šetření 107 učiteli mateřských škol, které bylo zaměřeno na otázky, zda a případně jakým způsobem respondenti pracují s tématem smrti na téma smrti v mateřské škole. 53,3 % respondentů uvedlo, že s tématem smrti v mateřské škole nepracuje a téměř čtvrtina respondentů uvedla jako důvod to, že děti v tomto věku smrt nechápou a tedy s tématem není vhodné pracovat v mateřské škole.
