Politicko-geografická analýza postavení islamistických stran v Egyptě a Tunisku

Abstract

Islamistická hnutí působí napříč celým regionem severní Afriky a Blízkého východu. Mateřskou a zároveň nejvýraznější organizací se stalo Muslimské bratrstvo, jehož myšlenky se rychle rozšířily i do okolních zemí. Byť jsou jednotlivá hnutí v různých zemích odlišná, tak mají jeden společný atribut, a tím je počátek jejich činnosti ve sociální sféře, kde se věnovala charitativním aktivitám. Teprve později vstoupila na politickou scénu. Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je porovnat činnost a úspěšnost Muslimského bratrstva (Strany svobody a spravedlnosti) v Egyptě a Hnutí islámského odporu (Strana obnovy) v Tunisku v rámci tamějších politických systémů. Práce se také snaží ověřit platnost teorie konfliktních linií a nalézt nejvhodnější linii, na jejímž základě se dělí elektorát islamistických stran v obou dvou porovnávaných zemích. Významný zlom v činnosti islamistických hnutí znamenaly události Arabského jara, kdy krátce po nich v obou dvou zemích vyhrála parlamentní volby. V Egyptě měla však politická participace Muslimského bratrstva krátkého trvání. Nyní působí v ilegalitě a nachází se ve stavu hluboké deprese. Oproti tomu v Tunisku se Straně obnovy dařilo více a stala se plnohodnotnou součástí politického systému. Klíčová slova: Islamismus, Egypt, Tunisko, Arabské jaro, Muslimské bratrstvo, Hnutí...

The Islamist movements operate in all the countries of the Middle East and North Africa region. The mother organization, which is also best-known among the movements, is the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, whose ideas spread quickly into other countries in the region. Although the Islamist movements are ideologically different, they have one similar attribute - focus on various social issues as well as the fact that they originally profiled as charity organizations and they have only recently entered the political scene. The main goal of this diploma thesis is to analyze and compare the activities and achievements of the Muslim Brotherhood (The Freedom and Justice party) and The Movement of Islamic Tendency (The Ennadhda party) within the political systems in Egypt and Tunisia. The thesis also aims at verifying explanatory cleavage of Islamist electorate based on the cleavage theory within Egypt and Tunisia. The biggest success of the Islamist movements so far meant the changes after the Arab Spring. Following this event the Islamist movements won the first free parliamentary election in both countries.
