Herní práce a možnosti jejího využití v komunikaci se seniory

Abstract

Obsahem předložené práce je problematika herní práce. Nejprve je představen její britský model, s tradičním zaměřením na děti. Poté situace v České republice, kde se specializace herní práce teprve etabluje. Autorka předpokládá, že by bylo možné využít herní práci i v péči o seniory, a to zejména dlouhodobě hospitalizované anebo ty, kteří žijí v pobytových zařízeních sociální péče. Jsou uvedeny aktivace v přirozeném prostředí měst i venkova, i aktivace umělé, iniciované pracovníky institucí s cílem seniory aktivovat. Je shrnut historický vývoj i současná podoba umělých aktivací. Praktická část obsahuje poznatky z rozhovorů s herními specialisty a zúčastněné pozorování v několika vybraných institucích zabývající se péčí o seniory.

The thesis is a study of the use of Playwork. The study first introduces the British playwork scheme, particularly with its traditional focus on children. Then it describes the current development of the technique in the Czech Republic. The author of the study tries to look at the possible use of Playwork on the elderly in care, particularly on those hospitalised long-term or those in residential care homes. The study gives examples of stimulation from urban and rural environments as well as the artificial stimulations given by care workers. It summarises the historical development and current form of the artificial stimulations. Another section gives examples of the data collected from interviews with play specialists and describes observations in several selected locations.
