Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to offer a functionally equivalent translation of the text Zuckerbers Zweifel written by the German publicist Thomas Schulz in 2017. The thesis is devided into two parts. The first is the actual translation of the text. The second part consists of a translation analysis of the original text, based on the Christane Nord's theory in her work Textanalyse und Übersetzen (1995). It also includes the translation method, translation problems and the typology of translation shifts. Cílem této práce je vytvořit funkčně ekvivalentní překlad textu Zuckergers Zweifel od německého publicisty Thomase Schulze, který byl publikován v roce 2017 v německém časopise Der Spiegel. Tato práce sestává ze dvou častí. V první časti je obsažen samotný překlad textu, část druhá je věnována odbornému komentáři. V rámci odborného komentáře jsem analyzovala text podle německé translatoložky Christiane Nord a její publikace Textanalyse und Übersetzen (1995), dále jsem se věnovala metodě překladu, překladatelským problémům a nakonec typologii překladatelských posunů.
