| dc.description.abstract | The bachelor thesis focuses on the topic of Wenceslas IV.'s politics against Jews in Bohemia. My research is based on the king's privileges and the narrative sources. There are three main topics in this work. What was the meaning of deletion of Jewish debts in 1385? How did the pogrom in Prague in 1389 affect the king's politics against the Jews? The third topic concern with cases from three cities in Bohemia (Cheb, Hradec Králové and České Budějovice), to know king's common method of dealing with Jews. Based on these sources I want to describe the main points in Wenceslas' politics against Jews and the differences between his politics and politics of his ancestors. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Bakalářská práce se zabývá dosud nezpracovaným tématem politiky Václava IV. vůči Židům v Čechách. Vychází především z panovníkových listin, dále pak z vybraných narativních pramenů. Hlavní osu práce tvoří vyvlastnění židovských dluhů z roku 1385, dále útok na pražské Židy z roku 1389 a konečně pak exkurs do králova přístupu k Židům v jednotlivých městech: Chebu, Hradci Králové a Českých Budějovicích. Na základě tohoto pramenného základu se pokusím vystihnout základní rysy postupu Václava IV. vůči Židům, nakolik odpovídal dobovým konvencím a reflektoval jednání svých předků. | cs_CZ |
